Happy Friday everyone,
I am happy to share with you an Auto Body Shop Makeover…yes, you read that correctly…I said Auto Body Shop!
My good friends, Bob and Sandy Buerk owners of St. Marys Auto Body located in St. Marys, PA (our last church appointment) have the most beautiful Auto Body Shop I have ever seen. I love their motto…”we make friends by acci“dent“! Their shop is listed in the top 5% of shops in the United States, quite an accomplishment!
The first time I walked into their Body Shop, I was amazed and that was BEFORE the recent makeover. The customer waiting room looked like it came right out of someone’s living room. The little refrigerator was full of soft drinks and a popcorn machine stood in the corner for anyone wanting something to snack on.
This is a before picture of the front desk area when you walk into the shop
This is the AFTER photo of the same area…so warm and inviting!
Behind the counter, is a large plate glass window so you can see into the body shop. Bob and his team of employees do AWESOME work transforming wrecked vehicles back to new condition. They use the latest techniques and equipment to perform their collision repair, including the use of water based paints.
Note: They were the first shop in Western Pennsylvania to make the change to this Waterborne paint which has a much lower level of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) than traditional automotive coatings. By using this product, they have significantly reduced their environmental footprint and helped to dramatically improve air quality. This environmentally friendly paint is safer for their staff and the color match is phenomenal. The finishes are baked on. WOW! They employ 15 people at this time, including both of their daughters.
Continuing our tour, as you go back the hallway, each bathroom is beautifully decorated, the ladies room done in shades of lavender was so pretty and “girly”…and the guys…done in a “manly” style of hunting decor.
Walking into the Conference Room is like walking into one you would see in a fancy hotel, equipped with a serving counter for serving refreshments. We often held our Church Leadership Board meetings here, it easily accomodates 30-40 people. Insurance companies often hold meetings and training events here.
But, now that has all changed.!!! Sandy has a wonderful eye for style and she doesn’t hestitate to do what it takes to create her vision.
BEFORE picture of customer waiting room
The newly remodeled Customer Waiting Room includes a play area for children to keep occupied and
a new flat screen TV.
Sandy transformed this room by installing all new flooring, faux painted walls and new furniture!
Who wouldn’t want to sit down in that comfy chair and watch a little TV while waiting!
Close up view of area at the front desk.
Living in Elk County, lends to decorating with a “woodsy” style,
notice the pinecones used on the shelving and in the floral bouquet.
Another view of the front desk area, only from employees point of view!
Love the wildlife theme Sandy is using here.
Some more “woodsy” decor and a close up view of those faux painted walls! What a cool technique~
This is Sandy’s office where you can go privately to discuss financial issues.
Sandy commissioned Nancy Tomaski, to do the faux painting on the walls. Her website is: paintmyworld.net
The Residential Planner who helped decorate is Karen Marzella. Her website is: casualeleganceibk.com
I want to thank Sandy and Bob for sharing with us today. They are wonderful people and guarantee 100% customer satisfaction! If you live in the area, don’t hestitate to call if you need their services. Their website is stmarysautobody.com
Be sure to check out the Nancy’s website for more inspiring photos!
